Two things matter more than the digging. Utility locates get called before anything goes in the ground. That is not a formality. And backfill that is not compacted properly settles, which shows up a year later as a sunken patio. Both are cheap to do right and expensive to redo.

Yes. Public locates are called before excavation on every job, without exception.
Can you work on a steep lot?
We do a lot of foothills work. Access and soil decide the approach. That is why we come look instead of quoting off a photo.
